This guy asked could we talk, and I'm like sure whatever. So I gave him my number we started talking. So he started saying that he liked me, and I told him that I DID NOT WANT TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP right now. I said we can just be friends. Well to make a long story short he's acting all funny like we are dating when I talk to my other guy friends. So I'm trying to figure out if maybe I don't know what friends is, or has the dictionary definition changed and I haven't been informed.

I feel the same way you do!I swear, 99.5% percent of they guys that I thought wanted to be my friends or were actually my friends either want , tried, or had intentions of tryna holla or "talk". Also, guys tend to make assumptions that we are "talking"...I mean why cant they ask me about it first??...or they have certain expectations of me when I am NOT their girl. I KNOW guys and girls can be friends...but I wish guys would start tryna see girls as friends first before they see them as there potentials...of course this is all in my experience...not trying to say it holds truth to all guys and girls..
as time goes by ....my minds been leaning towards the idea that maybe guys and girls cant be friends (of course i have seen guys w/ friends that are girls)..but MY experiences are starting to make me think i cant really have guys friends b/c lord knows i try to but they keep makin it more than that...
i think it goes both ways...a lot females say the same phrase' lets jus be friends ' but what they really mean is get to know me first and we wil see where it leads... so guys assume is the same for every girl they meet afterwards
and for a guy and girl to be friends , no one has to try it will happen on its own!
Its possible for a guy and girl to be friends. But its a little rough if you guys find each other attractive or just one party does. Life can be random. If it just so happens he or she in the room and y'all in the mood, there it is.
