Morehouse Interviews? Posted on 04-06-2007
2Dolce4Gabbana

"Morehouse is expanding its admissions process to include interviews of all serious candidates. The school says it won’t make a decision on anyone until the prospective student has had a conversation — either in person or over the phone — with a school official or an alumnus who has been through recruitment training." ANYONE HAD AN INTERVIEW???? WHAT DID THEY ASK YOU???

i had somewhat of an interview when i toured there on march 12 before they announced required interviews, the admissions rep asked who my greatest inspiration was, why i want to go to morehouse, define character, and to rate my effort, basically all of the essay questions from the application. i got in my grades werent so good but the interview/tour and my essay made convinced them in my opinion

Oh I see, well if thats the case then it shouldn't be too hard. I did the common app. because when i saw those questions on the paper application....eeehhh... I'd rather just tell them my life story. I've spoken to the guy who represents my area and he basically said, "you have everything it takes to get in (Grades, SAT scores, Extracurriculars, etc.), but we still want an interview". I mean, just let me in please!

Wow...that's crazy. I hate being interviewed. My thoughts come off so much better on paper. Hmm...best of luck to you both, and congrats.

Dang... they got interviews now. I had to interview and audition because I was a music major. I'm glad they are doing that. Alot of knuckle heads were slipping through the cracks. Congrats btw for all who get in. Holla if you have any questions.

Don’t eliminate yourself by not applying. You never know what will happen. I would not wait until the last minute. Therefore, you should apply before the end of November 2007. Good Luck!
