Some people say they're grown when they turn 18. Some say they're grown when they turn 21. Some people are "grown" due to circumstances. Then there are some people that are never grown, case in point, Michael Jackson!
But for real, fill in the blanks...
I knew I was grown when ________ and I was __ years old at the time!
I knew I was grown when I was broke, living on my own, forced to find a job and my parents would NOT give me any money. Did I mention I was broke? HELLA broke as a matter of fact.
I was 21 years old at the time.

I knew I was grown when I moved to another state and got my own apartment(fully equipped with rent, car note, light & phone bills...too broke to afford cable. ) I was 22 years old at the time!

I knew I was grown, when I moved into an apartment with roommates and we had only enough money to pay the rent... we went a few weeks without eating, just drinking water, I was 20 years old at the time.

I knew I was grown...hmm, when I saw the light at the end of the tunnel a.k.a. graduation nearing. Nobody there to take care of my ish anymore, and I had no desire for any1 to take care of it, either. Around turning 21...
I knew I was grown when I learned when I didn't have to say it and being in my twneties to not talk back to my mother even if she was wrong; because she can still kick my ****.
