Need I say more? If you haven't heard the news about his indictment and all of the controversy, you have to be living in a bubble!We can only speculate here (unless you've been to one of his alleged dog fights ) so let's throw some things out there.Do you think he knew about the dog fights on his property in Virginia?Do you think he's going to have to serve time? If so, for what, cruelty to animals? Illegal gambling? Dogfighting? _____?Do you think he will be severely punished by the NFL?Do you think he will be punished by the NFL at all?Do you think he will name more names and bring down the NFL dogfighting underworld?Do you think Arthur Blank(Owner of the Atlanta Falcons) will cut HIS player?Do you feel other NFL players should make any comments on the situation(teammates included)?
I think that all the above should happen to him. All that he did was illegal and he knew about the dog fights on his property. They even had a name for their dog fighting establishment. So it had gotten to be a very huge ordeal with them. Some of the fight purses were way up in the hundred thousands for those fights. This is what the guy from the Human Society mentioned.
"John Goodwin of the Humane Society said the manner in which losing or unwilling dogs were **** was especially troubling. "Some of the grisly details in these filings shocked even me, and I'm a person who faces this stuff every day," he said. "I was surprised to see that they were killing dogs by hanging them and one dog was **** by slamming it to the ground. Those are extremely **** methods of execution — they're unnecessary and just sick."
So I feel that Michael Vick is a mean joker. People who are cruel to animals and children are some mean people. I don't think America is going to be quick in forgiving Michael Vick for this type of sick behavior especially in the nation where the book "Marley and Me" has been on the bestselling list for years. LOL I have a dog and I love him like a child and wouldn't dare think of treating him cruel! That dog fighting stuff is very cruel and sick!
I'm not sure how severe the punishment is going to be but I know it has to be something heavy.Check out the indictment on Smoking Gun. It's like they wrote every detail in a diary and the folk found it.
I honestly feel bad for him. Early in the investigation his cousin claimed to be running everything. I'm sure Michael had an idea of what was going on but I dont think he would be stupid enough to risk his career and endorsements over a dogfighting ring. As far as him serving time, if the evidence is condemning enough, yeah he's definitely going to jail. As it is, all the animal rights organizations are up in arms over him. The media is portraying him as a monster. It's just not looking to good. As far as the NFL goes, if he's convicted, his career is over. No NFL team will want a 30 something year old felon. My heart goes out to Arthur Blank. He loves Michael Vick. He'll protect him with everything he's got until those steel bars close shut. As far as his teammates, they need to keep their mouths shut. Yeah, they may support him but thats going to bring the magnifying glass into their lives. My heart goes out to the Atlanta fans, season ticket holders, those little boys and girls who admire Michael Vick, his family, and Falcon Franchise. He definitely won't be playing this year or ever again.
NFL Commisioner Roger Goodell suspended rising star, Adam "Pacman" Jones a whole season without a conviction. Just for simple and outright misconduct. I just don't see a good outcome for Michael Vick. I admire the man for his athletic feats and his will power to succeed but unless that will power can erase those dog carcasses and every piece of news media from the last week, I just don't see him getting off. The court is going to try to make him an example. Though you may be rich, you dont get off. Although Paris Hilton did. We're not going to go into racial bias today though. Man, I wish J.C. was still alive.

You have to keep in mind that Pacman was penalized under the repeat offender rules this is Vick's first offense. Granted Vick isn't going to get a little slap on the wrist but I don't think his NFL career is going to be over b/c of this. Unless he's given major jail time.

I thought dogs were a mans best friend but what a way they treat their bf's lol. Anyway i dont think its that serious for him to take up a cell in jail just for that he gonna be sittin there wit his cell mate
