i'm currently writing a scholarship essay and i'm having trouble looking for philosphers who argue the point about when people of color use the n-word they are really caliing theirself one . do you know any doctors ect. that support that view

Yeah. I'm not sure it's going to be that easy to find direct studies about that. but I'm Sure Tavis Smiley, Al Sharpton, or Minister Louis Farrakhan might be a good start.
