My name is Arthur Quansah I am not currently enrolled in school and I am looking for some scholarships to get back into school. I am of Hispanic race but not sure what exactly. I was adopted by a African-American family when I was young and have grown accustomed to African-American living (Its the only way I know how to live, talk, walk and breath).
In 2003 I graduated high school in three years with a 3.8 GPA in an accelerated program and started my first college semester in the Fall of 04 when I was 17 at Metropolitan State College of Denver. I ended the semester with a 3.4 GPA, and with the honor of being on The National Deans List. Of course I was still living in my parents house and still receiving their assistance, shortly after the end of that semester I moved out ending that luxury. This next semester I was working and going to school, but with a mentality of immaturity and not the mentality of dedication which is much needed to make it in college and in life. I ended up taking a break from school. Now at 21 I have realized that I have wasted an opportunity that I should have taken advantage of young, and need some help to make it happen. I am open to all suggestions and opinions.
