Why is this event so costly? Couldn't this program mirror Spel- Bound where students stay in dorms to minimize the cost of the hotels? Make tours of Atlanta optional, instead of being built into the price. Banquet? Who needs a banquet when visiting a school that they MIGHT attend?
With airfare, for many this expense is more than a lot of people can shell out. Seems Morehouse should be doing all that it can for the parents wallet, while still being able to present a positive image of the school. I know a lot of people who would love to come down for this, but with prom, senior trips, graduation right around the corner and fall tuition payments not far off, CASH IS TIGHT! The intent of the program is great, but doesnt seem financially well thought out. JMO!
