I loved the site and the book intro..I'm actually ordering the book now (like once i finish typing this message..lol)..Just hope it isnt a series of really obvious tips...thanx

I heard about this book from the black college expo in 2006 and it is a worthy buy! Go get it. I also like how the info is presented in a fun way. It makes me more excited about go to college.

I can give folks advice about a Black Girls's success in college. 1. Stay out of the club scene. Only go when you have finished your work and have free time. 2. Stay away from men. Especially if you are thinking about pledging and don't want to allow any unnecessary distractions. 3. Be wise as a serpent but as gentle as a dove. Which means that you need to be very careful who you meet on college campuses. Not everyone will have your best interest in mind and that includes both males and females. ***See, I saved everyone some money. LOL I'm just kidding. Go and get the book, I'm sure she has some other helpful advice.

I have this book. Its actually pretty good and has some good infomation, though some of it is common sense. Its still a good reminder.
