Beckwith Hall

If any CAU students could give me the rundown on Beckwith it would be greatly appreciated ... Gracias !

well i dont actually go there, BUT i heard it was tha best dorm at CAU. so anybody that does go there, let me kno cuz i jus wanna make sure. haha.

do you know when we are suppose to actually get the information to do our housing

They send you an email to your school account with all of it and they mail it to you. But about Beckwith it is the nicest and here are the details about it: Beckwith Hall 700 Beckwith Street, SW Atlanta, GA 30314 Room Dimensions: 11 x 17 Co-ed facility Suite-style rooms (two double occupancy rooms with an adjoining bathroom) Kitchenettes located on ground, 2nd, and 3rd floors Single and double occupancy rooms Card key security access High-speed Ethernet access Elevator located in center of residence hall Air-conditioned Mailboxes located within residence hall Laundry facility located within residence hall Meal plan is optional (but strongly encouraged) for upperclass students Rooms are furnished accordingly based on occupancy with twin bed(s), desk(s), dresser(s), closet(s), and/or wardrobe(s). Pets of all types are prohibited. Weapons of all types are prohibited

BECKWITH IS NOT THE NICEST HALL AT CAU! I REPEAT IT IS NOT THE NICEST HALL AT CAU!!!! I am a current CAU student, and Beckwith is not the worst at CAU, but it is not the best! It does have a bathroom which is a luxury, considering the freshman dorms usually have community bathrooms(But Beckwith is technically an upperclassman/transfer dorm) CAU Suites are new (Opened Fall 2005) They provide a fridge and a microwave..Beckwith is not nearly as bad as my freshman dorms at CAU...but they are not luxury. If you don't want to stay in the CAU Suites or The New Residential Apartments(Which may be hard to get into as a freshman) then Beckwith is not the worst choice. To be honest, the housing at CAU is horrible right now because four freshman dorms have been shut down, three will be redone in the inside..so you never know where you might end up.

Ask them about your housing asap! Last year there were so many people without housing it was a mess...We were all in the news for that.
