The younger brother of the late R&B Singer Gerald Levert died just before midnight Sunday. His cause of death is not known. Sean Levert, 39, was taken to Lutheran Hospital from the Cuyahoga County Jail in Cleveland and died there at 11:57 p.m. Sunday, according to Cleveland.com. A coroner’s spokesman says an autopsy will be performed sometime today. Levert was being held for allegedly failing to pay about $80,000 in child support, BET.com first reported late last week. Levert was the youngest son of O’Jays lead singer Eddie Levert. It was in November that Sean started singing again with the group, Levert, he started with his brother, Gerald, who died Nov. 10, 2006. In addition to Sean’s music career, he also appeared in the movies “Dope Case Pending” in 2000 and “New Jack City” in 1991. Send your condolences.
