These full page ads which take over your desktop and the page you're trying to reach are a huge hassle and turn-off. How is one to negotiate a forum and get some debating done when half the time is spent dodging these gargantuan intrusions? And that's not to mention the peripheral blinkies which are another visual distraction.

LOL! Ya got a point. But what good is an advertisement if it drives away the business, or a pushy salesman who drives away the customer? (just my two cents)
