Thanks for the information. Do you know if these parties will be held after the concerts or during the concerts? The concerts usually last until 2 a.m. or 3 a.m. Where did you find all of this info? I went to a party at the W a couple of years ago when I went to the Essence Festival and it was a really nice party.
I won't be going this year, but one day I will. I keep hearing great things about it!
Yeah, I've been a couple of years to Essence Festival and I always have a good time. That is our main family vacation. My whole family goes every year! I like a lot of the day seminars at the convention center. They have a lot of people coming down this year for the seminars. Like T.D. Jakes, Al Sharpton, Bill Cosby, Juanita Bynum, etc. Hopefully, Obama will make a guest appearance!

No problem. I think the boat party is during the day,but the other parties are at night. If I find additional information, I will let you know ASAP. Its good to see the Essence fest is going strong in New Orleans.
Since i live in new orleans i go every year and alot of superstarts host parties for this event.

I am goin to say they will have parties open late only on saturday but bourbon is open all night.
