I recently read this book and it is very encouraging and uplifting. Great Book!!! I also recommend The Secret Life of Bees by **** Monk Kidd.

Have you checked out Hill Harper's Letters to a Sister? I heard him mention it on the Black in America special sponsored by Essence on CNN this pass weekend. He also has Letters to a Brother. I think those are the correct titles.
