The answer is in the question-self-so ignorant that they hate who they are- I bet you more Black people know about Caylee Anthony then they do about April Griffin-ignorance is bliss-www.youtube.com/freeaprilgriffin
Well... I don't just think it is just a hatred towards black women... but toward black people in general...
Yes, black women has the stereotypes of being a b****, ho, baby mama, ghetto, and neck-roller roughneck...
But, black men has the stereotypes of being convicts, down-low lovers, drug dealers, and everything in between...
Now I do agree that black women has it worse then black men... but there is one reason why [[at least in my opinion]] I think it is like this... and it was something that was unnoticed in the article: that this is what black women make themselves to be...
And no, I am not talking about the Condoleeza Rices, Oprah Winfreys, and Michelle Obamas, I am talking about the Trinas, Lil Kims, Melyssa Fords, etc. They carried this horrible appearance to the mainstream media... labeling themselves as the baddest b**** and video vixens...
I agree to that the white community, black community, and hip-hop community hates the black woman... but these communities also hates the black male...
and so the solution is in the article proposed:
--That women needs to make the change within themselves... meaning that they should not see themselves as derogatory
--That women must be confident with themselves to where they are comfortable with the hatred that is imposed on them
--Be the best that you can be... Simply...
As for what the white people think of black women... who cares? At the end of your life, those white people ain't going to be deciding factor of whether you go to heaven or hell. So the only thing black women [[as well as black men]] has to do is carry themselves in a correct manner, and just live...don't worry about what others think
Actually I posted that article to show how WE as BLACK people men, women , so called Black leaders, so called Black activist- really do not have a Black woman's Black and 'sista' this and sista that-if my sister was assaulted and beaten by a white man-the so called black media/mainstream/activists would be all on this sag-but because a black man abused her -its like oh its cool-loook at Jena 6 black/white issue national uproar-if only my sister can get a fourth of the support and help-but its the true hatred for the black woman-self hatred-go to my you tube videos and type in 'freeaprilgriffin videos-and see my channel for more info-its like whos gonna talk about it and whos gonna be about it.....
Why was this bullisht even published?
Hatred of Black women in Hip-hop? LOL! Dude, please...
I would have an ounce more respect for the article if the author would have posed solutions to the "problem" instead of posing questions. Oh, wait...that was goal for 2005
