Hey i just booked my flight to go to a day in your life on jan 26! But now WHAT TO WEAR LOL...girls who have been before or w/e please let me know is it like suit and heel type thing orrr....? lol HELP! Splat

I was wondering the same thing. I was thinking maybe something casual but comfy, since there is A LOT of walking involved. I'm thinking about packing some slacks and nice blouse that's not too dressy and some cute flats. I really hope I'm not over, dressed because I would be highly upset, if it's a jeans and t-shirt type thing, but then I would feel uncomfortable if it is a suit and heel type thing.Lol. So, I would suggest something in the middle.

Lol thank God I'm not the only one having this issue! I think I'm going to do the slacks n blouse n flats thing too! When are you going n where. R u staying?...I'm from boston n ill b there on sat (24) n I'm stayen at some hotel that starts with a W ill look it up lata lol

Yeah, I was going to call tomorrow and asked, but I'll probably just wear what I said. I'm leaving on the 24th as well, but I have family there so I'll be staying with my aunt.I'm flying in from DC by myself and my aunt, who's a graduate from Spelman will be taking me to ADIYL on Monday!!! I know it's going to be fun and I'm sooooo excited to visit my DREAM SCHOOL!!!Have you been there before or is this going to be your first time as well?

Its going to be my first time too! I'm so excited! Spelman is also my dream school! Let me know what they say when you call! Its suppose to be 55 degrees on monday n sunny

If you ladies are looking for some fun on January 24, 2009, I recommend checking out the Honda Battle of the Bands at the Georgia Dome. I went last year and it was an excellent event. More importantly, Have a safe trip and enjoy your tour of Spelman. Thumbup

Okay cool.I'll make sure I'll let you know.And are you serious? 55 degrees feels like summer compared to this 15 degree weather here.OMG...I can't wait!! And the battle of the bands sounds cool, but my weekend is booked.Lol

Hey I e-mailed Erica Johnson, and she told me that there was no specific dress code, but she said "over up your goodies!" Hoped that made packing a little bit easier!
