OK....so i filled out the application and i did the (two) 250 word essays that was on the application. but i just saw something on the website that said all applicants must do "the 500 word essay entitled "My Desire for and Commitment to a College Education." But that is not on the application! Im confused...help please.
I saw that too after i completed my application..I dont kno what thats all about but i did the 250 word one and i got accepted soo...idk..u should be straight..i dont know anybody that did the 500 word one..and all of my friends got in

It took about 2-3 weeks for me to get my decision in the mail...
However, I have some friends who applied the same time as i did and it took like a month for them to get their decision..but famu will tell you over the phone if you are in or not..
Im worried bout the dorms tho..everyone says that famu does not have the cutest dorms..but i heard i should try to get in diamond or truth..because those are the nicest ones..i like diamond because it has carpet and truth because i heard they got the newest bathrooms...

if i get in i am applying 4 diamond, truth, and mcGuinn hall. I was going to do Palmetto, the apartment style dorms but i decided i wanted to get the FULL college experience. so ill stick it out 4 one year. but i dont know how i wil be able to manage with a community bathroom!! LOL

Lol i know right i really dont know how imma do it because i have my own bathroom right now sharing with a bunch of others is just....ugh!.. and yeah you will def get in cuz my gpa was much lower and I got in..I am from Florida and I dont know anyone who has ever been denied..Im sure it happens but from your scores I think you;ll be a good student..and im sure fam will think so too..and i was going to apply for palmetto as well but everyone was tellin me thats a bad idea for freshman yr and all of their reasons made sense so..im applyin to the same ones you are!
yae! hopefully ill see u there in the fall! have u visited the campus yet?? i was watching "America's Best Dance Crew" and the 'famu strikers' were on there. The campus looked pretty on TV...(the glimpse that i saw)

but no i havent visited the campus..i know alot of ppl that go there and alot going/those that have visited everyone says the campus it pretty nice..im just ready to go see for myself! im excited but yet nervous!
