English department at Spelman

From what I heard, it's very intense, as all academic programs are at Spelman. There seems to be a lot of interesting courses available if you look at the course descriptions. When I go there, I plan to either major in English or Sociology, or have them both as a double major. All of Spelman's programs are great!

Well my twin sister just graduated from Spelman's english department, and she says that certain classes can be hard but they are also some classes that she enoyed very much. I believe one of her favorite classes was a Toni Morrison seminar class where you read 8 or 9 of her books. But then she is very passionate about african american studies as well as english so it just depends on what your into.
