Whats your drive for doing your work?
I'm a first generation college student....so me eve applyin to colleges and being excepted is a blessing within it self. All my life I wanted to go to college because I knew that if I wanted the finer things in life, I had to have a college degree. Only so many people are sucessful without a college degree. I know tha I'm a very intellectual woman and I can use that intellect to ge up out the "hood". I don't want to live my life with so many "what ifs". I also want to attend college because I know this is an experience that will foreve impact my life. I hope to find the true me in college. I want to know what it's like to be somewha independent. I can go on and on...but this sums in up!

i'm in school not cuz my mom is forcin me but because i know its harder to make somethin of yourself with a high school diploma and not a college degree. and plus there were blacks who had to fight for the right to get a college education, so why have them work in vain?
i'm also tryin to maintain this last semester of HS cuz howard threatened me in my acceptance packet with a recission letter. gettin kicked out 'fore i even get there? that wont be good...
Im in college cause I wanna be college educated and its hard to get a decent paying job with just a bachelors degree...So Im going to law school and all so I can hopefully make those big bucks one day.
I am going cause I want to. I wanna be a teacher myself, and I have to have a degree to first off teach, then a degree shows that I am prepared for teaching in the classroom. And when I get my masters, that is about another $8,000 to $10,000 added on my salary. Hollaz yall
I chose to attend college for many reasons. I felt it was necessary for me to continue my education, since I did so well in high school. Also, I've always been the type of person to love to learn a lot of things. So when I entered college, I had the goal that I wanted to be the very best that I can be, according to what area I chose to study. Plus, numerous opportunities are available for me, and the money is great, since I've got my degree. But now that I'm going to grad school, I've felt that it's best for me to keep learning things and enhancing my talents while I'm still young.
Going to college is a choice that I made to better myself. A high school diploma ain't nothing, and it seems like everyone is getting their Bachelor's degree so to stand out from the crowd, I'm getting my Master's and later on, (before my 32 birthday) I will have my Doctorate's.

Im in high school cuz my peoples MADE me.....but I chose to go to college to better myself and to help me get to where I wanna be as a broadcast journalist. Now as far as the work part....My drive is completely GHOST because we have less then a WEEK of school left! I had a drive in the beginning but....FUKKA SCHOOL WORK NOW!!!
