"The bill outlaws a procedure generally performed in the second or third trimester in which a fetus is partially delivered before being ****, usually by having its skull punctured." I got that out of a recent article covering the topic, in Yahoo news... So, what do ya'll think about this...?

i don't agree with partial birth abortions but i feel as long as the birth is affecting someone else's life the gov't shouldn't say if it is or is not right...i know ppl who use abortions as **** that **** but that's not always the case...

This bill wasn't very well thought through. It prevents women from getting an **** at the risk of their health. It also outlaws the removal of the fetus even if the baby has died. It requires the mother to still carry that baby to term, which, among other things, can be fatal. Did you guys see the picture of the signing of this bill. Bush was sighning the paper surrounded by nothing but old white men. Where were the women and minorities. The picture very aptly depicts who Bush is trying to appease. While I myself am not sure that I will ever have an ****, I believe that it is a violation of rights for the government to step in and determine that for women when they clearly have no regard for these children once they are born. If the government is going to make it their responsibility to bring lives into this world, then it needs to also assume the responsibility of caring for these lives. When Bush decides to sign a bill for better health care and improved school systems then he will have my respect and perhaps my vote. But I doubt that he will suprise me.
