Okay. We've all heard the problems that most HBCUs go through with their administration or policies. However, it seems to me that little, if nothing, is being done about it. Places such as the financial aid and business offices seem to be disorganized and understaffed. Deans, when they are needed, seem to be "too busy" or never there. There have been many complaints from students about those things which are huge problems, but solutions are rarely ever presented. I believe that each student body at every HBCU needs to come together and address those issues. How do you think that these problems can be fixed before it's too late?
I personally believe that for one, it should begin with funding and that those who graduate from HBCUs should donate money, that way more staff can be hired to work in those adminstrative positions. I think that because most offices are understaffed, it's the root of most problems that HBCUs face.

That have to bring their education up to par with White Colleges or they will continue to lose Good Black Students who will not tolerate below average education.
Prince
What does good education and administration have to do with one another? NOTHING. One can exsits without the other.
I understand where your ideals are going? But you just sound a **** off w/ black schools. They are not perfect, but neither are white universities. Believe me I know! That is why we live on what is called earth, where nothing and no one are perfect-just make lemonade out of what ever lemons are given :!: Oh, and folks.....I'm NOT saying accept any and everything because of its name or percetion...but choice based on how the school will serve & cater to u and your wants and needs. Happy Reseaching Everyone!

^^^ I have to disagree with that. Based on my experience, yours may be different, that isn't the case. Actually, it's quite vice versa for several reasons...but that is another topic for another day, so I won't expand on that under this topic.
