i think they always go wrong...unless y'all been together for a long minute, then its possible to make it work especially as a college student...if not then 99% of the time you either find someone else or just lose interest in that person... :?

They always go wrong from my experience. If he's not there in the flesh, I find myself wondering off to somebody else

Well my relationship started out as a long distance relationship. I met my b/f over the summer and after summer he had to leave. We spent six months apart. It was stressful but we learned to trust on another and we learned a lot. At bout 7 months I moved to be with him. I moveed in w/ him and his roommate. I got my own place 11 months into the relationship. He then moved in with me. As of Sept.7 it will be 2 years. My bestfriend and her b/f have had a long ditance relationship for almost 2 years. She constantly flies out to Texas to see him and he flies into Florida to see her. They have spent a lot of money on plane tickest its been stressful but they genuinely love each other. So in my opinion to each their own

from my experience, they ALWAYS go wrong. I was dating this brother before I got in college, but by the fact that we were going to 2 separate colleges, we also began to "separate" in the relationship. Things that didn't used to bother you starts to such as if you two saw each other all the time, and now it's like see ya when I see ya. Eventually, you find yourself not only physically apart, but arguing more, "looking" more (ya know what I mean), and thinking about each other less. So unless ya'll are willing to face the fact that ya'll will go through some things and are willing to make sacrifices to make it work...you might want to leave it alone.
