Why do females hate on each other???? Posted on 12-09-2003

:o I don't know if this has been talked about yet or not, I'm sure it has, but it's really irritating. I always have envied how men can get along with each other and even when they don't they can squash their issues and be cool with each other afterwards. Whereas for women, we can't even say hello to another female without rolling our eyes  . I encoutner that a lot and I find that for myself and many other females, we tend to get along with men better. I just wanted some females to shed some light or experiences on this issue.....

I totally agree with you. The isssue, many times, with females is jealousy. It can be jealousy over a guy, car, clothes, position, popularity, beauty, or talent. I encounter this also, and I do get along better with guys, although I still talk smack to guys, too. It seems as if they respect us more than other females. We can be so petty, catty, and full of drama, oh yeah, not to mention immature. I am just coming out/still in a situation were a reall good friend betrayed me and tried to turn some of my cousins against me (some already were :? ). As females, we should definitely watch the company we keep with other women because females, in general, are sneaky. That's just my opinion, though.........

I knew I wasn't the only one going through this...I just think it's stupid that they are trying to turn your family against you, that's messed up. I also think that if females are threatened in any way by another female, like with looks for example...we get all pissy...I don't have any problem giving another girl her props if she looks cute! There's nothing wrong with it! But you always get the ones that say "she thinks she cute..." If women weren't so jealous of each other and confident with who they are, I know there wouldn't be so much drama all the time.

There is only one way to answer this question. Jealously. Some females can't stand it when someone got a man or is actually trying to do something for themselves.

Ladies, I mos def feel ya'll. As women, we should be mature enough to give props where they are due because we know we love us some compliments. If you're not happy with yourself or with the way things are going in your life, then change what you can, feel me. Ain't no use in bringing someone else down in order to boost yourself up. Oh Shauna, yeah it was real foul what happened and a couple of the cousins she went back to believed her (well most of the stuff was true, but I wasn't running them down or spreading lies, just stating my opinion). Anyways, My so-called friend was an active participant in our convos and now she wants to be "in" with them. I say to H*** with 'em all 'cuz I don't need them. Oh, and she avoids me and doesn't speak to me now. Shoot, I wanna put them all on straight BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    PS Girl, she even brought my mama's name up in it..... :x :x

i must agree with this one... i mostly get along with my male friends better than females... i'm not going to blame it entirely on those females but i do have my reasons for some... and basically it's not jeelous... it's because they don't like me or has done something that has tried to crush my pride... and i love myself very much. but i try to get along with who i can and i must say that most of my male friends has stayed loyal with me and has never disappointed me to the point i don't want to talk to them. then they (those evil girls who hate me so) go this thing that i'm a **** cuz i got a lot of male friends... please tell me i'm not alone with this one.. this had to happen to someone else here right  :?:

I'm the type of person that gets along with everybody, male or female. But it seems like females have this kind of tension with each other before they even get to know each and its stupid. We all just need to get along.

Girl I can definetly feel you on that one...I don't trust females, I have very few that are actually loyal and that I can trust...maybe 3 or 4...even then I still keep a guard up. I have high self-esteem and I try really hard to make it a point to be nice to whoever I come into contact with because you never know what could happen to that person. Males just seem to keep it real and I personally think they are more fun to be around. Girls want to call other females **** just because they are jealous and they know that is one way to ruin someone's reputation. It's really shallow.
