iight i been peepin out these lil itty bitty teeny weeny shribbled tiny prison cell lookin dorms and i want to know how n da world do yall fit it all in and look half way decent?! So please as a favor for tha class of 2008....give us tips n tricks and post up whatever else u think would help us adjust to dorm (and roomate) livin
Don't bring half of your life is the first step....after that...storing stuff under the bed will help too (you'll probably want to invest in some containers but I would recommend waiting until you get there)
^^^good tip i was lookin at storage contatiners yesterday...i have to see what ASU dorms look like next month when i'm at orientation cause i know i got alot of junk i want to take i know i'm goin to have to condense that down...
No but im goin to CAU and im stayin Pfeiffer... and my cus told me when she was in college she brought a suitcase to leave under her bed for more space and jus fold the clothes... like an extra drawer
WELL WHEN I WENT TO VISIT SKEGEE I SAW THAT WE CAN NOT PUT ANYTHING UNDER OUR BEDS. SO WHAT I DO IS HANG UP MY PANTS AND PUT SOME OF MY SHIRTS IN MY DRESSER DRAWER AND PUT THE SUITCASES AND DUFFLE BAGS IN MY CLOSET. MY FRIEND'S MOTHER ALSO SAID DO NOT TAKE ALL YOUR CLOTHES AT ONE TIME EITHER.
well for those that are attending FAMU, the dorm rooms are a decent size unless u stayin in p-fote. i stayed in McGuinn and it was big me and my roommate had tons of walking space. and space to put our refrigerators, microwave, and tv's.
My two options are to buy a chest or to buy a laptop cable lock (you attach it to a pipe or something stable). But, I'm still afraid. Hopefully, Howard has locks on their closets.
