Looking for College roomates?

:idea: Post what HBCU you are going to and holla at some people and maybe you can find a room-mate for when you start your freshman year at the HBCU you are going to attend... Nothing beats knowing people before you hit campus... This is the perfect place to do it... :wink:

Yes i would rather know my college roommate but at the same time it would be better if you had your own private room and they lived like right next door or down the hall.

one of my better qualities is being a real "people person" although it would be nice to room with a friend i think i would rather room with someone i dont already know so that i can meet new people and start new friendships. much love barbie

I agree college is suppose to be a new start, new life, adventures and people. Knowing your room mate just makes the experience watered down a tad. anyway for some people that really helps and if they didn't know their room mate before hand they wouldn't talk to anyone! :lol: Have a wonder time at college though people.

I think its cool to atleast have an idea of who you are rooming with. You all will be able to coordinate what you all can bring. I think it would be a great idea to get to know what type of person you are staying with. You guys might have a some things in common

I think that is great you are a people person. I am as well. Both my parents are real outgoing and it runs in my blood. I have been fortunate enough to meet some awesome people in my llife. I was born in Cali, moved to Michigan and now live in GA so I have met different types of people and I have learned that people are more likely to be kind if you are to them. The meanest person cant deny a smile. So you will make it far in life with that people person attitude, all of you all will!!!!!! PS Check out Savannah State its awesome

How about you meet a new person that will be going to your school on this website, then you might potentially have a new friend already when you start school... Might not be a bad idea... :roll:

I voted no because I realy dont care who i share a dorm with. I just want them to be clean and im cool. Besides coming from San Diego i wont no anyone anyways.

i don't wanna know my roomate, but i want someone who is trustworthy and ain't gonna go thru my stuff. ur tru colors come out once u room wit a person and u might not want to know their tru colors or vica versa!!!
