Let's just say I've done it before and well, being that I am from the left coast and I come home every summer, I just make sure that I am not seriously dealing with anyone before I leave. I've done it before and it was disatrous! I make sure to tell the dude I am dealing with ((if I have one before I leave)) that I can't make no promises, and I leave it at that. That's just the way it has to be cause 1. I aint trying to get my feelings hurt again 2. There is really no way I will know what he is doing for three whole months and I'll be damned if I keep tabs on a nig 3. Nothing in life is guaranteed.
So I figure why even worry over it? The guy I'm seeing now was constantly bickering over how he didn't want me to go home, and how he just knew other dudes were gonna be trying to get at me, I better not be messin with nobody else, yaddah yaddah yah. Well that's insecurity at its best right there and not only that but I am willing to bet he will mess with someone else just off of that cause he already thinks I am. *smh* You just have to figure out if the person you are dealing with is going to be worth your time and effort and potential drama! :wink: 8)
I could handle a long distance romance.It really all depends on how serious the two are.I know I'd be willing to drive and or fly to see my lover and I hope he would do the same.Of course it wont be easy...name one relationship where everything is a breeze.The key is being creative and finding what ways will better help the relationship survive.I'm 23 and there is nothing to lose at this point.
I havent been able to in the past. This dude I used to talk to, and liked a lot, stayed on tha West side and we really connected...
But him living 45 mins away was too far to allow our relationship to really develop... and 45 mins. away is barely long distance. But I still think about how good we would have been together.
I think its really hard, but if yer willing to make it work...then you'll make sure thangs will stay copasetic between yall two!! But hey, Im tryin. I really am!
Im in a long distance relationship right now, my baby is at home in Jamaica, its soo hard cuz I miss him so much, but I am faithfully waiting on him..August 24th and the long-distance thing will be ova with. ..I dont think I could handle a real long, long distance relationship,Ill miss him too too much.
I hope and pray that this fall everything will be alright. Eight hours away from my guy is going to be chalenging. both of u are so busy now, where we don't hear from or see one another as much as we would like to... it's only natural for me to think about when I leave off to school, what's going to happen. It's weird, but I hope we'll be okay..... PRAY 4 US!!!
