Alicia Keys.....None Like My parents.....I wonder...umm... Posted on 06-20-2004
what's_on_my_mind

Kanye West....Out Kast.... Twister...and some more figures are talented right now..... We see them produce and make music that makes you heart pulse go high and make you groove to the motion within your head... However...I was thinking...we don't have many artist nowdays that are similar to our parents generation... When I mean that....In my parents day and time....artist like Temptations....Isley Brothers....Supremes....Whispers....and other legends... not only sung...but where able to pla music instruments and song at the same time... They were more than a music group...they were a band... Nowdays... the only thing we have close to that is Alica Keys.... You don't see B2K, TLC, Destiny Child, and others being a band and artist... You see the music and a few dance moves that make you go yeah!!! But we don't have no music with a band that is clever and creative like our parents day and time... This **** a little for me.... What do you all think about this???

yea thats true. Its like the actual music we listen to today has been diluted. (sp?) I dont think we have the same music appritiation as our parents generation did.

Well i mean we had Dru Hill they were great and can still drop a hot album... Jodeci was very hot and that was around our time 112 are nice and can bring some heat Jagged Edge are also very good And Destiny child were very good and when they get back 2gether And last but knot least Boyz 2 Men All those held it down It's a new day with new ways of making sound and getting a song out But we do have a band they may not be huge every where but D@mn The ROOTS do there thing they crazy nice with it.

Well times change. It wouldn't be much original if everyone's concept were the same. Today we have a variety of artists.
