I think a book that every person of color anywhere should read is
"Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?:And Other Conversations About Race" by Beverly Daniel Tatum, PH.D.
This book explains the complexity of race very well, and how to respond to conversations about race.
