Do alot of you all go to weddings? If so is it to witness the holy matrimony of two loving individuals or is it to get a peep of whats on the meat market?? I've never been to one, but I hear that alot of single women go there looking to catch the bouquet and hookup with somebodi.

Nah I dont go to weddings for that reason at all...The only weddings I have been to are the ones where I am in the wedding party as a bridesmaid....but I also like to go to weddings to help me in creating my vision for my perfect wedding one day. I love weddings tho....They are always so beautiful. Every wedding I have been to I have cried at the wedding. Especially when the bride comes out looking so beautiful, and I see other people crying. And the bride and groom exchanging vows always gets me. Im just an emotional person.

All the weddings I've been to, I could see where stuff should have been different, but I never hope to get that desparate to have to go to a wedding looking for a man. Watching two other people consecrate(lol...is that the right word) there love for one another is enough for me. I can't wait for my wedding day...its gonna be a first-class affair...I HOPE!!! But to the boquet(sp) toss tradition. My friend caught a bauquet (sp again) but in the process she was scrathed like 50 times...females are ruthless...the dudes are rather chill with the garder belt but females will **** for the bauquet... Aw....Rock With You just came on the radio ::starts jamming::

I've only been to like five or six weddings cuz I don't like to go if I don't know the people. Last weekend my momma had me to go a wedding with her in downtown Houston because she didn't know how to get there. The wedding was straight, but I didn't know the bride, but I had met her momma a few times from going to see my mom at work. Either way, going to a wedding to find a man is just pitiful.

My friend who got attacked for the baquet...the wedding she went to was a die-hard cowboy fan so supposedly the "theme" was "The Cowboys" ...the colors were blue, white, and silve (not summery at all)....she said it was nice, but the description sounded tacky...to me atleast.

lol...yeah when the bouquet is thrown it be an all out war. I remember last year at my older cousins wedding...My other cousin who is my age...her and her mother are more like friends than mother and daughter. Well anyhow, my cousin threw her bouquet and I of course didnt catch it but didnt really care...Well my cousin that is my age and her mom had both caught the bouquet so for like a good 3 minutes it was just the two of them left in the middle of the floor pulling for it...If I remember correctly...My cousins mom ended up with the bouquet. She was TOO excited...lol
