What do you think would happen if all African-americans were to go back to Africa? How would we do? What would happen? Do u think this would have a positive effect on us as a race? How well do you think you would make this transition? What would be left of America?? Hmmmm... I wonder :?

people would plow fields, and their yaks would have gold teeth and their carts would have spinners there would be air force one field shoes and fitted caps with matching dashikis

well it would be awkard at first ...but when everyone realizes they are just the same, it would be Harmony. Both parties can benefit off of each other. Africa would become a global power with no "beef" with anyone else. All race issues would be gone . As for America their will be no one to beat up on or say unkind words to or lye against or use like a rag doll....GAME OVER!!!! :twisted:

It has been proposed and attempted in the past, unfornutately in the past it usually didn't work very well. However, an interesting idea to play around with. I think that if the migration were organized, we would rise to the challenge. It would most likely not come as good news for Africans, who would have an entirely new subculture in their midst, and new competition for resources. We would probably end up with our own state or nation, and a culture and government very similar to the one we left behind in the states. It would be a significant adjustment, because although modern Africa does enjoy well-developed cities and economies, it is not comparable to the US. One thing that I have (semi-seriously) thought about is aquiring land in the Caribbean specifically targeted towards African-American investors and expatriates. Imagine a self-governing nation in the Caribbean especially for Afro-Americans. For an initial investment of about $500,000, you would be able to receive citizenship with full rights, as well as a small parcel of land. The initial aquisition would be subsidized by Black American businessmen, who would be granted exclusive contracts to do business in the nation for the first couple of years. As a privilege of citizenship, public education would be free for pre-kindergarten through 12, plus government run college or trade school. There also would be universal, state-run healthcare for all citizens. By moving there, a citizen would be able to retain their culture (English language, American cultural norms) while being in a Black-run environment. The main industry would be technology and manufacturing-based; similar to India, you have a highly-skilled workforce without the governmental restrictions found in the US. Is this realistic? Holla
