Just a question out of curiosity...... Why do you think the Deltas have 200,000+ members while the AKAs have 170,000+?
Could it be that the Deltas are more popular and if so why? Or are the AKAs a little more selective with who they accept into their organization? All my friends want to pledge Delta, but I don't so I'm wondering why are they more appealing to potential pledgees? I'm thinking that maybe people think the AKAs are stuck up or something like that. Any insight?

I was wondering the same thing.
But "guest"...No one can tell you what to join. the decision is yours. And please don't base your interests on which one has more members. Please do your research.....RESEARCH.....RESEARCH....RESEARCH!!! That'll help you decide.
What ever you do, be prepared to get HIT...... Opps, did I say that outloud? Just remember this phrase, "Get in the CUT"
^^^Nonsense... PURE ignorance
Don't worry about who is joining what sorority and why. If you base your opinions on that, you're not ready. Just find what works for you. It may not be AKA or DST.

^^^I think you should research the greek. ANd find out who does more on your campus
I am interested in pledging a certain sorority, but I have been doing alot of personal research on that organization...I have been to the website, and I bought the book, THE DIVINE NINE, it will give you tons of information on all the greek organizations, and their purposes, etc...So if you are serious bout learning on your own, and not just what others have told you....I encourage you to RESEARCH to find out if becoming a part of a certain organization is for you.
