Have you ever had people try to guess what Frat or Sorority best fit you by just looking at you and your personality?...does this really have any real significance? Does each Greek org carry a general look, personality, or attitude that they look for?
Thats an interesting question...being a non greek and telling someone that I am inbterested in pledging in the future people will say you look and fit the personality of XYZ. I dont know if this has any significance, but as a non greek I have experienced that.
That has happened to me also. A greek asked me what I wouls pledge and I wouldn't tell him. He said that I looked like I belong in a certain sorority. Ironically, that is the sorority that I am interested in.
Folks used to be like, "You look like you could be in ABC, but you act like you belong in XYZ...."
Boy did I surprise them.......

I believe that all frats and orgs have stereotypes about the way a person joining that org usually looks/and/or acts .. But it is funny that u mentioned this because we had a post about it awhile back .. "Greek Superlatives" .. i had mostly Deltas .. A few Akas .. And maybe 1 or a couple of Zetas and this is just by my "Internet Personality"
Well i am a non greek and some just told me the other day that i had to personality of 123 but i have to look and style of ABC. So i politely told me "Hell u got a personaility of an cow!!" I really didn't like that perosn that much.

I come from a family full of active Deltas and damn near all of my friends are DST so naturally, everyone figured that I would follow suit. I love the ladies of DST but it just wasn't in me! I was BORN AKA and yes when I probated EVERYONE I knew was shocked, especially my aunt who had me in all the Jabberwock pageants.
