I have a question, what do you guys think about dating over the internet? I'm not dating anyone over the internet, but I met this guy and he lives in Toledo. When I go to school in Bowling Green (unfortunately, but only for a year. Will transfer to Hampton next year) I'll be about 20 minutes away. My sister says that talking to him is just like meeting someone over the internet. This is somewhat what we're doing but nobody's dating or trying to hook up in here. So this isn't reallylike it, but what do yall think about internet dating, I was just wodering!
hmm....If u really feelin the person and you have that connection then its gonna be w/e and you cant help that. Its all about how you go about it. Are you planning to meet the person and date in real life or sustain a relationship over the internet itself. I mean with all the technology thats out today you can most def. have an E-relationship with the use of web cams, and you can IM every nite but theres a lot of uncertainty with that. Too much temptation out there for my blood but its all relative on the situation and the person.
I didn't meet this guy over the internet, my sister believes its almost the same. he lives in Toledo and i live two and a half hours away, but in the fall I'll be about twenty minutes away. we've been talking to each other over the phone. We met by accident. But we are kind of diggin each other now. We've never seen each other and that's never been an issue before. But now that were into each other we're both kind of interested in seeing what each other looks like. We had planned on scanning our pics and emailing them.
I think that if you do internet date and when you finally meet you need somebody there who can help you out if something goes down. people get hurt when they think they know somebody and they trust them without really knowing them. Just whenever you meet them for the first couple of times have somebody strong with you.
I wouldnt advocate datin over the net..I mean what if he some old pervert or somethin and yall never seen each other or nething I jus wouldnt trust it slim..but hey do you..wish u the best of luck on it
well if you didn't meet him over the internet and you've never seen him before how exactly did u meet him cuz I feel a tad bit slow here.
I'm a tad bit confused on how u met him too. U said u didn't meet on the net, but at the same time...you haven't seen him in person before? Ok, or maybe i'm wrong. I dunno :?

We didn't meet over the net. I accidently dialed the wrong number. I was tryingto call one of my friends. When he told me that I had the wrong number it sound so much like him I told him to stop playin and kept talking to him. When I realized that he wasn't my friend I apologized and he asked if I mind him calling me back later. Ididnt' think he would but he did. When we talked I was apprehentious sp? so I didn't give him the vitals. But we just talked. He seemed pretty cool. He attends (resume in fall) Owens College in Toledo and has a job, and a car. I'm not a gold digger but that stuff just shows me that he has goals and pretty good priorities you know? we both sometimes talk about how odd it is how we met. My sister says it's just like dating over the net, that's were this question came from. She doen't condone it but right now it's nothing serious. I am cautious and all, I know that there are crazy folk out there, but I don't know maybe he's got all that blinded from me, I don't know I was just wondering about what other folks thought about net dating
