Ok i want to get some braids before i go back to school and i want to get micros........
My question to u ladies is. :arrow: Have u had micros before
:arrow: Whats your experince
:arrow: and some maintinece(sp) advice
Yeah I had micros before
I had em bout 3 times
alot of people complain that it takes their hair out mainly their edges. This has not happened to me. No matter what people say, WASH YOUR MICROS! Don't put all that heavy grease in your hair cuz it won't do anything but attract dirt and make ya braids look nasty. I suggest **** or shea butter.

^^^ Yeah thats what i was worried about takin my edges out, but most of my relaxer is growin out and i just dont want to have to deal with it.
I just took my braids out and my hair tends to grow when I get it braided so..it did. I pulled one braid out so naturally my hair came out with it....dont do that. But yeah, wash em. If they're done right they shouldnt fall out. I went swimming a million times with em and didnt lose one. I love braids cuz I dont like to comb my hair anyway buuuutttt looks like I wont be getting braids again anytime soon cuz the barber decided I didnt need hair...period. All I asked him to do is shape up ma dam fro and.....my bad, I digress. Still a little bitter behind that....
i've never had them cause i can't sit that still but yeah wash them cause all that grease will attract dirt which will make your hair stink

i think micros look real cute, but its sumthin i would neva get cuz i've heard it takes a day to two to take them out and sometimes up to 10hrs to do....i ain't got patience for dat, plus they break off your hair....child i'm tryna grow this hair as long as possible... :lol:

nah, I've never had braids unless they were cornrows cuz like someone else said, I don't have the patience to sit there to get it done. My friends have had them before and loved them while they had them in but went through hell and back taking them out, so good luck if you get em. Also, maybe you could consider getting the twists instead of micros, just make sure they don't lock at the roots.
it took 9 hours for me to get them and bout 3 to 4 hours to take them down
