ay i'll b holdin it down at CAU n tha fall and i just went to our orientation. It was sooooo crunk. The OGz (orientation guides) had so much energy and love for tha school that it couldn't help but rub off on us. it really set the tone for us on what we needed to live up to when school actually started. it also gave us an opportunity to start meeting a lot of new friends. i want to know how orientation was at other schools? do ya'll feel that it's an important step to start making the transition from high school to college? any other thoughts??

Well, at Tuskegee we will not have our orientation until Aug. 21. I wish we could have had it earlier.

Yeah I just came back from orientation @ JSU. I had 2 much fun. The school was cool but I actually like Tuskegee's campus better. But the school was still crunk. I got to stay in the same dorm I will be stayin in in the fall which was tight. Dorm like is 2 fun, I love the freedom. And I got to schedule my classes and I also got my ID card 2.

WELL!! I CAME BACK FROM MY TOPS (ORIENTATION) FRIDAY NIGHT....it was a 2 day event and it was tooooooooooo fun the first day, they had check in, tours, testing, etc etc. Later on, they had a stepshow, a social(party) with food and a dj..it was maddd hype!! then they played a movie but it was empty...i went for a couple of minutes and left to go meet more folks..we chilled outside till 1 in the morning talkin and wil'in out!! I stayed on campus which was aight cause i met more folks. the next day, they had sessions for the parents while the kids registered for classes...that got me real mad cause it was supposed to be over by 1130, but i didnt finish until 430-5  i shouldve been on the rode driving back home for 8 hrs but NO! im standing in line with about 400 kids tryna register for classes  gotta love FAMU!! i think im ready to go back though...im counting the days to be out this biiittttccchhhhhhh

thats ironic cuz comin back from CAU's orientation i saw my friend in the ATL airport on her way home from FAMU. she said folx was missin flights and tha school wasn't even caring. that's messed up. i think CAU figured most of our scheduals would change anyway so they mainly only handled changes in majors.

I just came back from VA today, VSU's orientation was Thursday and Friday. It was aight. Thursday was tours and stuff. I didn't stay in the dorm overnight cuz there was really nothin goin on Friday. Being that it was my first time even being @ VSU, I thought the campus was really nice. There are also some real cute guys there!! 8)
