Ok so last nite I was @ this Black Cultural Festival w/ my friends. I've gone for the past 13 years & I've always had fun & there's never been any real drama. So tell me why, within the first hour of being there, there was a big **** fight. A group of guys was chasin' this dude, caught him, threw him to the ground, and stomped the hell outta his ****. Of couse the police come running & take everybody away & it was ok for a minute. But then the people running the festival decide to avoid further fights by closing up half an hour early. So me & my 2 friends are by the gates about to leave & everybody who was in the festival starts running to the gates at a straight sprint. We have no clue what's goin on til we hear gunshots & then see smoke in the air. So we start runnin too but it turns out the cops sprayed mace everywhere to stop the fight I have breathing problems & couldn't even walk so sum random guy picked me up & got me across the street where the air was clear. When I got outta there I was like wtf.
But the thing I don't understand is why people choose the worse times to bring up they beef. Why black folks always gotta be so rowdy & end up not having anything? People mess up & get things taken away then they wanna wonder why it happens. Can anyone help me understand why so many of our black people choose to make the rest of us look bad?
was it free? Cause i know at free events, all types of people are there, especially the troublemakers that wanna **** everyone's time. I went to a fest they had down here back in FEB. and once night time came, the dumb **** were there, **** just so everyone could run...
they'd shoot, everyone runs, comes back and 10 minutes later shoot again. This went on for 20 minutes before the performers could actually come back and perform :roll:
I truly can not tell you. Its ashame how we as black people choose the worse times to show our **** then want to complain about this that and the third when you get the things you like taken away. Its a damn shame but its the life we CHOOSE to live. And when people start call us ghetto and rowdy ya want to cop mad attitude when its true. I know its not ALL black people but the few who do choose to act a damn fool ruin it for everybody else.

Black people have the tendency to take advantage of everything...even a free event that suppose to inspire black unity...It is a shame..we used to have so many events in my city before they got to acting stupid around here...Four teens were shot and/or murdered on the 4th in less than 24 hours...Many cities take that as average but our city is pretty small...So, every death hits close to home...
But yeah..it is a shame but that is the way our culture is...The more we try to change the more ignorant people become
tell me about it...it even happens at my own high school...since our school is popular we always have radio stations and sometimes celebs come by for events...this past year at this concert in the auditorium some of the dumb **** freshmen started throwing pennies at the performers on stage and everyone had to go home :roll: ...also we only have like one pep rally a season because whenever the band plays some crunk music the WHOLE school just floods the gym and halls and start knuckin and buckin and stuff lol...so the principal always tells us to stop playin and tells everyone to go home...
Why?
Cuz those people are "black people". They're called "niggers".
They define the sterotype that has befitted us alll over the years; that all we do, is smoke, drink, fight, sell ****, make babies (while never taking care of them), and hang out on the corners and things. Damn shame, too.
It's just ignorance. and it will never change. That's why black people can't have anything Cause it's always somebody who think they know the whole story but live in their own world :? yeah we all some :wink:
