Ok, i know you're like..."WTH???" lol, but listen up. I heard this interesting comparision by this preacher. We were having a group discussion about male/female relations and he compared women to spaghetti and men to waffles. Apparently, women are like spaghetti because when describing something, they can mention every lil nook & cranny of what happened and still manage to make it all intertwine and connect (like spaghetti). Then, men are like waffles because they seperate everything into compartments (like waffles) & keep it simple and to the point. Example: A date took place on one friday evening. Here's how the man would describe the date...
Man..."yeah dawg. I picked her up at 8. She looked fly yo. We went out to eat. Nice place. Saw a movie. It was cool. I took her home. Gave her lil kiss. Went home"
Here's the woman's interpretation..."Well girl. I decided to get in the shower at 6. I even used that new shower gel that u got me from bath & body works. It smells so good. Girl, after that i couldn't decide whether to wear my hair up or down. And u know i wanted to wear the black dress, but then i took another look at the red one, and i just new James would LOVE my legs in that. I decided to wear the black one tho cuz red makes me look fat. He pulled up to the house at 7:59. I heard his loud **** music from my bedroom. Speakin of which, he was playin the new Kanye. I love me some Kanye girl. He is so cute! James kinda looks like him too...etc. etc."
Do u think this is true? Have u ever witnessed or seen the difference in the way that men & women communicate? I know i have. When i ask a guy friend how his day was, he says "it was cool". And i'm left thinkin "ok...and...???". Becuz i know when i talk to one of my girlfriends, i'm gonna get her entire agenda...and THEN some! That's spaghetti for ya
yes this is true. i know i like to give and receive details when i'm conversating with male or female. i also dont understand the spaghetti comparison either. i see how we females like to tie things together, but the nook and cranny thang i dont get. :?
Yeah, it is true. Women generally speak in a lot more detail than men. However, I do not get the spaghetti -- nook and cranny comparison.
lol. Ok, so i tweeked the story a lil bit. Don't mind the "nook & cranny" thing. I'm headin in the english muffin direction. But newho, yeah that's just my way of sayin that females like to give every lil detail (nook & cranny). Always giving details, and even manage to get thrown off, start talkin about sumthin else, then still manage to bring it back around to what they were talkin about before.
