Do you cry??? Posted on 07-16-2004
Magnolia Steele

am i the only one who has a problem with crying?? since puberty i have only cried in front of other people like 2-3 times.... twice for football and graduation a little bit... I would not even allow myself to cry at my grandfather's funeral... i think it comes from the way i was raised.... my dad always raised me to be tough and crying was considered a sign of weakness... I have only seen my dad cry once and i never saw my grandad cry.. not even on his deathbed.... I guess the way i was raised..there were just certain things that a real man was not supposed to do and crying was one of them...I don't cry and i don't like to be around people when they crying...I have never cried at a funeral...so how do u feel about crying

There is NOTHING wrong with a guy crying from time to time. Its an emotion that should be expressed and not held in. Now if he cries more than I do, and cry over any lil thing...Ima think he just a lil bytch that needs to man up... As far as me crying...i am a WATERHEAD...lol. It doesnt take much for me to start tearin up. A sad movie, a sad story, an inspirational story, an upsetting situation I am going thru....I will cry. I am a big **** cry baby.

 I don't think that there is anything wrong with crying, but I am not an emotional person and I think that is the way my mother raised me. We hold a lot of our emotions in which can be considered a bad thing. However, when I do cry, I feel like I let a lot of things off my chest and I feel better in the long run, but that's not often. As for guys, my boyfriend cries in front of me and has done it like 3 times. Sometimes I think he's sensitive, but I guess you just have to let it out.

I don't cry in public. I usually go somewhere private like the bathroom or my room. Then I get cleaned up and go about my business. I don't like people to see me cry.

i don't think anything is wrong with crying...it's just another way of letting out your emotions...i don't think a guy crying time to time is a sign of weakness, some guys think its one of the worse things in the world...i just say man, let it out....
