Marrying a greek... Posted on 07-23-2004

So me and my friend who's currently in college were talking the other day and he said that he wants to marry a greek (even if it's not from his particular sister sorority) because they are more understanding...do you guys feel that way as well? Do you guys feel that maybe a non-greek might not be as understanding?

This should be interesting. Well I don't know anyone who's married or getting married any time soon....but I have a friend who's completely anti-greek and her boyfriend is "seriously interested". If he goes through the process I can see his involvement being an issue. As a friend is there any advice I should give her?

She needs to get over it. Thats not a choice that she can make for him. He'll always be the same person that he was before the process. If thats her man, then she should be supporting him.

The problem isn't that she doesn't want him to become greek...its more of she has a lot of negative misconceptions about greeks..esp. the process. I don't know...now that I think about it...she's stuck in her ways so there's really not too much advice I can offer. I'm just gonna sit back and see how things go.

*TOPIC REPEAT* My current boyfriend is not greek and we have an excellent relationship and understanding of each other. I feel sorry for those greeks who only go around dating greeks because somebody gonna end up old, lonely and **** (**** huh...2bad it's true)
