Hey people... I need some help. I am participating in a Beautillion and I want some ideas for good ways to raise money (besides the typical collections at church/businesses/individuals). Thanx.
Cool, i wondered if any guys were doing that. Well, i'm in Jack & Jill Debutantes(AKA), and here is some of the stuff that i'm doing for fundraisers...
~selling candy(takes awhile to get the candy in, if ordered)
~dinner sales
~garage sales(buy clearance clothes, and selling them for cheap) *it works*
~car wash
~picking a really good corner that's really busy and asking for donations
(really cheesy and embarassing, but i got $346 from it) :wink:
I think its cool you are doing this!! I am a Debutante for the local AKAs and we accept donations and do ads to be published in the program the night of the ball. My fellow debs and I also did a car wash and split the proceeds. Good luck! :lol:
