well I just got everything done when I went home ex. hair, toes, eyebrows, etc. I used to go home about every 2 months. I can go awhile without getting all of that stuff done cuz it really doesn't phase me that much.

we'll for me the only thing i worry about getting done is my hair... its always easy to find someone to braid....so that is covered... but when it comes to the relaxer i'm still tryna find someone to do that...this lady was doing it and fukked up my hair big time, so now i gotta search for someone else...

Basically that's what I did. Y'all know where Livingstone is? Right now, i'm learning how to do all of that myself since i'm not going to be at home as much as I used to my freshman year.

Oh Gawd! Lemme just say I looooooove coming home just so I can get my nails done for a reasonable price! I'm sorry but I aint used to paying no damn $15 for a fill-in! Or $25 for a full set! At home, I can get a full set, a pedicure, and STILL have $ left over to eat with $20! Here in Cali it's only $10 for a full set ($7 for a fill in) airbrush/charms are FREE. Pedicure is only $8 compared to $23 down south! Yeah I do my own feet when I'm at school! And since my nails have grown so long I'm about to stop getting them done and just keep them up myself cause $25 is just too damn much! Okay I've ranted long enough On the flip side though, being down south is GREAT for my head! I can get braided up ((micros)) for as little as $30, there are lots of chics on my campus with mad talent so competition is steep! If I do go to the shop, the prices are very cheap across the board compared to Cali. So I guess there are pros and cons. But all in all I have adjusted pretty well, good topic xavierette 8)

I live about an hour (45 minutes on a good day 8) ) from my school---sooo when it was time to get those fill-ins, touch ups, braids-whatever-i jus tell my mama to bring her a$$ and take me home. Besides the prices in RIchmond were outragous....i be dayumed if imma pay $30 for a full set.....yea right. :?
