The show would be a good idea, but BET already has THE CENTER hosted by Tiffany...and the show is aimed at college students, and every episode its a different topic targeting college kids...And if you watch the show u will notice they have alot black college banners representing most of the HBCU's. I think the ideas yall have would help to make it better tho. If yall dont know what Im talking about it comes on everyday 3pm ET.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan..... f*ck the Center... That show is a bunch of bullsh*t. I mean yeah originally it was meant to be informative to students about to enter college, but now... its just another video show with the facade of a show intended for college preparation... oh well.... I think they do need to make a college version of teen summit and just stop showing the center... 8) Oh yeah I did notice all those HBCU banners in the background.

I agree with you completely, I was just saying that BET wouldnt make a Teen Summit aimed at black college students because they feel they are already doing that with THE CENTER, when really that show is wack and needs alotta work.

f*** BET, if y'all really want to we could get a representative at every campus and host our own teen summits and have fundraisers and such and at the end consolidate our money for a conference at some hotel or something, if you want something done you gotta go up and get it, if BET hosted a college summit, in the background there would be some tip drill dancers or something

oh and in case y'all were wondering, yea i'd watch it like that anyway but on a more serious note  it is possible, now to have it televised or made a weekly TV show or something, although it is possible, it would be a lot harder, i think it would serve more of an impact if ... well if you really want to do this... there would be a representative from each school that served as that school's moderator (he/she could have a council to help run meetings and such) and also stood as that schools represent on the national council, amongst them they would elect officers, mainly a president to make sure it runs smoothly, this council would communicate via e-mail/a forum/chat to come up with monthly topics to discuss, maybe even come up with all topics for a year and stagger them so different schools could bring the input from their campuses to the discussion, maybe have video conferencing where all schools could link together into one giant conference, maybe each school does the same topics and records everyones thoughts, and then some point during winter break all members that wanted to go could go to a convention type thing at some hotel and discuss the topics, whichever plan is chosen, i like the idea of people from different schools meeting up at one central location at a given date to all discuss problems facing their peers, you can keep coming up with ideas, these are just examples to show you that is project is not only possible but practical, all we need is support, it doesnt even have to start as something big, it can start small and grow as it becomes more and more popular, basically a living human to human direct interaction version of THIS forum, EXCEPT with specific topics that have been chosen to avoid confusion, however at the "National Conference" there could be maybe an open forum section where anyone can bring up whatever topic they wanted, i dont know, but whoever created this post just got my mind set in motion, it can be executed swiftly and efficiently, this is by NO means a formal set in stone proposal, but i have a lot of great ideas for this and i can see it turning into something VERY big and beneficial to a lot of people... although, none of this is possible without all of you! sorry yall but i am just really excited about this idea, so many things could be addressed, like voting and all the things we seem so apathetic about, all the things you wish you had known before anybody tosses this idea aside as "stupid" or impossible, i am prepared to defend it and i will remove any doubt from your mind that this is not possible I see this as a way to unite all the HBCU's of america, and a step to uniting all the blacks of america. You might think i'm crazy but i see so much potential for this that it is blowing my mind, well that and the fact that ive been up for more than 24 hours plus with all the webmasters and graphic artists we have here we could easily punch out a highly professional website, with all the writers and thinkers we could not only make a professional layout and plan, we could mass produce a packet in which everything the constitution by laws and everything are already done for you damn im so excited im even thinking of names The Unity Project HBCC - Historically Black College Colloquium i dunno im about to burst so i'll just press send and let all this marinate If you don't see where i'm coming from, then come where i'm seeing from ill make you believe i know a lot of yall might talk down on this because it isnt a professional proposal or anything, but i didnt even intend this post to be like this, it started as a joke respone and then i just started thinking

They should have a show titled "Freshmen Gone Wild"...have some panelist that did some dumb stuff that either compromised or could have compromised their college career. Have them talk about what made them do it...and basically encourage freshman that although u are away from mom and dad you should still maintain ur home training.
