I'm curious as well, so ya'll are saying u want a dude who is madd ruff and a ****? Who will go around just fighting ppl recklessly? Who will fight a dude for looking at u? That makes no sense unless u act on it most men would take that as a compliment. But ya'll are saying u want a man who is so jealous so **** he just fights or does stupid ****just because? Does hitting you count as well? I've heard women say that but it makes no sense. If yo man picked a fight with a dude with a gun and he was unarmed would u be mad if he ran away from being shot or **** or would u want him shot or ****? U dont want a man to tell u how he feels?Does that make him soft for expressing his feelings? but wont u complain there is no communication?U dont want a dude who is close to his mother? would ya'll please explain?Being a real man means putting urself in bad situations?Thats strange.Explain please...

No, we are saying that we want someone who is not afraid to stand up for himself and for his woman... someone who is not controlling, but able to be aggressive if needed. Someone who can understand the true meaning of being a real man... and it is intrinsic, not learned. Usually these men have had a strong paternal upbringing, and the men in their family acted as role models. We are not looking for a rough neck, necessarily (or at least I'm not)... just someone who does not allow others to overstep their boundaries when dealing with him, and, specifically in this case, his woman. It's a respect thing... if you allow others to disrespect you, then what kind of man are you? Petty disrespect from ignorant people can be ignored... it's the major stuff that we are talking about. For instance, someone mentioned ****. If something happens to your girl, and you basically did nothing about it, what kind of a man are you? That's what we're saying. It's that masculinity that attracts me... that vulnerable side that needs to be guarded and protected... and I would feel more secure with a man who understands my needs, and acts accordingly.
