A song came on the radio last night I hadn't heard be4...& I was tryna figure out who was singin' it...sounded like Kelz...but I wasn't sure...
I kept listening more & more & the quality of the person's voice sounded JUST like R. Kelly...once I heard the hook (the words he was using & HOW he was usin' 'em), I was like oh yeah...gotta be Kelz...
so the DJ confirmed it...it was, in fact, R. Kelly...a new song called "If"...have ya'll heard it?
anywayz...the point of this thread....don't get me wrong, i LUV me some R. Kelly (his music)...he's my #1 fav. male R&B artist...
but his last few singles, man...i don't know...they just all seem...the same...
this "If" single really made it hit home...I was thinkin'...this song woulda been hot...like 10 years ago...but the words he uses...everything he talks about in the song...I don't know, just doesn't seem original, 4 him anyway...
just seems like he's runnin' out of lyrics...it's not like he's sayin' the same things, but in a different way....he's saying the same things the SAME way...
maybe it's just me, tho...
