An English professor wrote the words, "a woman without her man is
nothing"
on the blackboard and directed the students to punctuate it correctly.
The men wrote: "A woman, without her man, is nothing."
The women wrote: "A woman: without her, man is nothing."
Punctuation is everything.

i was hesitant to reply to this one cuz i wasnt sure what i thought about this topic... ^^ took the words right out of my mouth
its just like saying :
An English professor wrote the words, "a man without him woman is
nothing"
on the blackboard and directed the students to punctuate it correctly.
The woman wrote: "A man, without his woman, is nothing."
The man wrote: "A man: without him, woman is nothing."
as long as there is a common understanding that we depend on each other in life instead of just women depending on men and vice versa, this shouldnt be an issue at all...

him and his are two different words.
so the professor would then think that the woman is stupid because she cant follow directions or drive.
