Yeah I dont think anyone who's from up north was like dissing the south u kno " they slow"....
Yall are...I mean Im use to downtown Chicago almost gettin run over by cabs...people not saying excuse me...rushing down the street. All of that.
When I went to downtown ATL im likw WTF....cuz its NOTHING like Chicago..everything moves SLOW..thus the whole "everything in the south is slow"....
I mean I don't think a lot of you who are getting somewhat offended have been to NY or L.A or Chicago and stayed there for a good minute.
Whether your in the north or the south each city in the area is going to be different in the north you got cities like chicago and Detroit that are similiar but then you look at Boston New York and Philly and all three of those cities are different from each other and are within driving distance so that also takes into effect on a city's culture. And the same thing goe's for the difference in Atlanta than city's in texas and so on. Im from Boston and when I went to chicago and Detroit I felt and you can tell that those city's have their southern roots but in the northeast its hard to find that even though we all came from the south at one point in time.

Most of the time, when people consider the south and it's "slow" pace, they consider small country **** towns that if you drive 70mph and go too far, you won't be in that town anymore. Alot of people fail to realize that there are many different types of areas in the south. There are small country rural areas, towns, and cities. A small rural area doesn't exemplify the whole southern way of life, just like New York isn't an example of every northern city.Eye-360 wrote:Its the overall aura/vibe....For example, cars ride and people walk at a more laid-back pace...Like people don't have anywhere to go...You'd really think at least folks would drive faster with all the 60-70mph signs down here...Most we prob see back home is 55mph....
