No, you are not dumb! There are so many intelligent young women that come to Spelman that everyone can not get a scholarship. A good thing is that it is easier to get free money once you are a student at Spelman, and Mrs. Cash, the head of the admissions office, said that most people who are given scholarships do not come to the school performing at a stellar level. So, that means that the money is recirculated to those who are more deserving.Keep the faith, and when you get to Spelman, immediately start checking those flyers for internships and scholarships.

Thanks girl, I do try. *Pops collar* No, but seriously, Spelman works with every student, but the student has to work too. We should meet up on move-in day so when school starts we can head to career planning, and then to the woman in admissions who heads up the UNCF scholarships.

Well, you will meet the ones attending Spelman first because we can't leave the campus the whole first week, and we have a curfew at 11:00pm (I think). Next, you will meet the ones from Morehouse when we go get our Morehouse brothers. We may see students from CAU on the strip when school officially starts .
