Okay lovely people of HBCU's here are my imputs on D.C, Howard and everything in between(if u care to know):
D.C-
* I'll have to un-learn how to properly drive because it seems no one knows how to drive
*pedestrians dont stop at red lights i guess and walk slowly across on green
*too too too much traffic everywhere
*bold **** bums from D.C
*houses that are conjoined and painted in extreme colors (whats that about?)
*it'll take some adjusting
Howard-
*a tad bit unorganized especially when it came to financial aid time
*beautiful people. honestly almost all the girls looked like models and a lot of attractive men also
*loved the stores by howard. one i especially would love to shop at is up against the wall
*a lil bit ghetto
*i didnt talk to anybody which sucked.
Overall-
Im lookin forward to the experience, if anybody who reads this goes to Howard or will be going please respond with ur own views on the subject
Hey gurl...about what the triples look like...from what i've been told, they're the same size as a double but w/ 3 people . Which kinda ****, cuz u have 3x as many things in a room meant for two...but they did say the triples get AC, if that matters...They did say that usually someone moves out of the triple cuz they can't take it lol, or they move out b4 they even get there, so if u decide to stay u should be aiight...
thanks. I will stay because it is affordable for my mother. I am the only child so I am trying to mentally prepare myself for the experience. But hopefully someone one will move out or decide that they would perfer a apartment or something. I am ready for the experience though. thanks again.
yeah girl im an only child too so I gotta prep myself. After 18 years of being alone and getting my way, even living with ONE other person is gonna be tough so I couldn't even imagine doing it with two other chicks. good luck with your triple though, it'll probably end up being a lot of fun if you have nice roomies and you'll def. grow a lot.
Have you tried Bison web. That is where most of us found out about ours. If you havent tried it then your user ID is your Student ID with the @ sign included. If you have never been on there before your password is your birthday: mn/da/ye
Tried it?!! lol for the past week I've basically lived on BisonWeb. I go to school checking it and go to sleep checking it.....It's alright, I'll just impatiently wait... :x
