What do you guys think about black girls wearing weaves in their hair?
I personally have mixed feelings about it. I only will accept it if I have to guess if the girls hair is a weave. I hate to see girls with weaves that look like a weave because it looks way too terrible, and two dollarish.
Crackin up people other than yourself like who? Yea yea,baby braids, lil simpin, your responses are getting weaker and weaker, and less and less funny, and they make no sense whatso ever...and seriously, I dont see one post where anyone else has gotten mad or overly defensive except for yours....this was fun at first but now it's getting lame, so unless you can rekindle the humor that once was there, Im not responding anymore....
I have never seen anything like this before. You claim to be from Cali well I was born and raised there. I dont know what part you come from, but where I am from we dont have to talk mess to make ourselves feel better. What are you gaining from your little ignorant comments? I think what you have to say about Alda is a reflection of how you feel about yourself. I dont even know Alda foreal and I dont usually post things on these message boards. However after reading this nonsense I could not resist. You really need to grow up and realize that all the negative comments you have chosen to post about Alda and others are things that you see in yourself. You really need to cool it. Sistahs lets not go after each others. Cali dude is the focus. Let me "tell" you something. I am a beautiful black sistah with a beautiful black brother. I get my hair, nails (they are real), and feet done religiously. I have a lot of pride within myself. I would still be fly if I chose to where my hair natural and not get my nails or feet done. The thing YOU fail to realize is that no one is thinking of YOU when they get "done up". I do it for me because it makes me feel good. You say black girls don't have any pride. Well if some don't , you are the cause. Bringing them down, because they aren't somebody else. 9 times out of 10, you aren't happy with yourself, that's why you have nothing better to than bring down beautiful black sistahs. You aren't worth our time, stay with the redbones. Obviously the perms done in Cali aren't right so maybe you need to go somewhere else before you make a generalization (I know it's a big word, so follow me).All them girls you see in the videos, including the redbones, have perms and weaves, so get real.
Last note: Remember no one is getting done up for YOU. Trust, you are probably the last thing that is on their minds when they are at the shop. :idea:

I mean, the other person who said about how mixed ppl have probs with their hair is right... spoken from a mut, herself! I mean, I'm biracial and I have just as many, if not more, probs with my hair than fully blk girls who get weave and perms! The minute I get my hair hot combed or flat-ironed (which is the only thing that works!) it falls when the wind blows, unless I dampen it with pounds of grease! Oh, well... that's all I got to say

Whats wrong with getting a perm? It's very unattractive to see females walking around with a permy looking slick! It's so ****.......... I would advise perm-heads go find someone with a magic pressing comb or learn how to work the magic yourself
........and another point i must add.........its so irritating to see the **** roots when it is time for a retouch........

i'm so tired of perm head weavy wonder **** black **** walking around looking so stupid with that unnatural looking **** in there hair. **** don't like unnatural females. They like natural females and don't think these peeps can't tell when yall have them stiff weaves and too top it off with those spiked up perms. you say what's wrong with taking pride in yourself theres nothing wrong with that but be natural with it use a pressing comb ihey work too. perms don't do nothing but grow out and make your hair nappier. so take it from me leave the two-toned weaves alone and for you spike head perm wearers let your hair grow out and leave the precised perms alone and go grab some black and gold two for five.

yea..i gotta second that 1, cuz if you wanted longer hair you shouldn't have cut it in the first place
& also, perms look good in some peoples hair, but i will say that they are not for everyone (cuz it will just damage your hair & break it off), and there is nothing wrong with a weave...& while i might not wear one, some people look a whole lot better with a correctly done weave

sometimes a black girl have to cut her hair off and then wear a weave maybe the girls hair was damaged and braided it up because she didn't feel right with short hair or felt that she needed to rest her hair but if she had healthy strands that would be stupid but you wouldn't be able to tell uless you were the girl
