AKA'S AND OMEGAS Posted on 06-04-2004

IS IT JUST ME OR DOES IT SEEM LIKE A LOT OF AKA'S EITHER DATE OR MARRY AND OMEGA. WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL, THERE WERE A LOT OF OMEGAS AND AKA'S DATING AND SOME EVENTUALLY GOT MARRIED. EVEN HERE IN MY HOMETOWN, I SEE A LOT OF FRONT CAR TAGS WITH THE AKA/OMEGA SIGNS ON THEM. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?

Blah Blah Blah... All that getting to know someone and blah blah sounds good in story books. And if you do that, Roo to you. For the people who choose to keep it real in here know gotdamn well that they have their particular interest in certain qualities that someone needs to possess on the outer before you even look towards the inner. It's human nature. Survival of the fittest. And sorry to say my friends, but an **** duckling is by far not going to survive...except in a few cases. Now, as far as preferred orgs is concerned...for those of us that keep it real, know that we tend to indulge in the hype and stereotypes behind the orgs...some take it one extreme or the next, most of us tend to remain in the middle and enjoy it one both sides of the fence. Like I said earlier, I love STEREOTYPICAL AKA's. Am I wrong for that? No. That's like telling someone they're wrong for liking vanilla ice cream over chocolate and saying something dumb like "you gotta look at the inside (ingrediants) instead of the worrying about the outside (flavor)".
Soooooooo sooooooooo true. It's just a preference. Just like some women are like "I'd prefer to marry a doctor" or men are like "I'd prefer to marry a Spelman grad" or New Yorkers like "I'd prefer to marry someone from Manhattan" someone can be like "I prefer to marry a Kappa". Not all Kappas are the same, but neither are all doctors, Spelman grads or Manhattanites. However, they do have something that is attached to them stereotypically and that stereotype often manifests itself within the individual in some shape or form.

The reason this example is stupid...is because it's the wrong pretense. What you are, the inside of you in the WHOLE. The outside of you are the PARTS. You got it mixed homie. The inside (flavor) instead of worrying about the outside (ingredients).
