When i went out there, I inquired about their Presidential Scholarship. The Financial Aid guy was like they only give a certain number of merit scholarships per year... So that means apply early. But as far as lack of funding...I know as an HBCU their endowment and such might be limited.

I don't need anybody else's permission to talk about a specific organization.
In all actuality my post was not intended to require u to ask me for permission to talk about the org's, on the contrary i was actually looking out for not only u in particular but others on the same path........if u read some other post u'd probally see EXACTLY what im talking about .......so the attitude is definitely not needed in this situation mmk..do u..Peace and Love

Phylicia215, I'm thinkin about moving to Philly. Should I?
Philly is nice depending on what parts your in. I love Philly because i grew up here. Its always something to do. But it all depends on why you wanna come. I wont lie the crime is outragous right now but thats mostly in the parts where its bad like North part of the city...but it no worst than Baltimore if you are farmilar with The Wire. But other than that Its good, you might wanna consider it. The burbs surrounding Philly is kool to but its nothin like Philly. Most people I know who live in the burbs say it can't really compare to Philly.
